l'oreal pro glow concealer review

If there's one beauty bit I know loads about, it's concealer. This is because of the ol' birthmark and rosacea that I've been dealing with my whole life. I've tried countless concealers--from luxury to drugstore--and there honestly aren't that many good ones out there.

This, my lovely readers, is a seriously good one.

L'Oreal Pro Glow Concealer: What's it good for?

The Pro Glow Concealer has a thin, watery formula that melts into the skin and gives a subtle luminescence to the skin. It doesn't crease under eyes and it doesn't settle into pores--making it absolutely perfect for concealing redness on the cheeks and dark circles under the eyes. It stays in place all day and doesn't oxidise.

I love using this for conceal redness on my cheeks and around my nose, as well as the dark blue veins under my eyes. It looks so natural--like you've got nothing on, but your skin just looks good. For reference, I use the lightest shade--which unfortunately might not suit the palest among us. But it blends out super easily!

What's it not good for?

I'm gonna say right off the bat that this concealer is not good at covering serious spots or intense pigmentation, like my birthmark. This isn't suitable for covering my birthmark and doesn't cover active acne spots. For those areas, you're better off going in with a heavy-coverage formula, like the Collection Lasting Perfection or the Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer.

What's the catch?

It's only available in the States!! So my stateside readers--you're in luck. My UK friends, you're gonna have to buy this next time you or someone you know heads stateside.

Have you guys tried this concealer? What are your thoughts?
