12 things the beauty addict will love: coffee spoons holiday gift guide for beauty lovers

There are so many great beauty products out there right now that would make a perfect gift for the beauty addict in your life.

First up, we've got the new Chanel Gabrielle fragrance (1). This is my fave of all of the Chanel fragrances as it's the most organically floral scent, with a bit of a powdery finish. LOVE. If Chanel No5 doesn't work for you, try this one for sure! Tom Ford Neroli Portofino (2) is another absolute favourite--it's a little bit beachy, a little bit neroli, a little bit masculine--a lot of perfection.

The Bobbi Brown Caviar and Rubies Eyeshadow Palette (3) looks insanely gorgeous. I am dying to create a smoked-out eyeshadow wing with that deep navy! Perfect for the girl or guy who loves a subtle eye look that can be amped up to something more dramatic from time to time. Speaking of palettes, how beautiful is the packaging on this Becca Eye Lights Palette (4)? It's their famed highlighters reformulated (or perhaps just repackaged?) for the eyes. It's apparently super subtle but buildable.

Moving onto face palettes, the Chanel Palette Essentielle (5) is just amazing. I have it in the lightest shade (pictured--there are two darker shades as well) and the concealer is amazing. It features cream pigments: one highlighter, one pigment for lips and cheeks, and one concealer. The concealer is great! It's my current favourite, outstripping the Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer (which is so not worth it, in my opinion) and even the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage (equal in terms of coverage, better in terms of texture and wear time). And I'm such a sucker for Hourglass's palettes...*gold eyes*...and the Ambient Lighting Edit Vol. 3 (6) looks like a stunner. This and the Chanel Palette Essentielle would be great all-in-one gifts, chocked full of multipurpose items.

Now on to lipsticks...regular blog readers (hello lovely people!) will know that I'm obsessed with the Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color (8) (review here), so what better time than the holidays to dole out a few to those you love? Or buy a couple for yourself! I've also included the Diorific Kohl Lipstick (9) in this gift guide because the formula--basically a kohl powder--sounds so intriguing. The shade Pure Topaz (pictured) looks gorgeous and is super unexpected for the depths of winter--which makes me love it even more. Another unexpected winter shade is from Chanel's holiday collection: Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in First Light (7). This is in their luminous matte range, and I think this could be such a fun way to brighten up those dark winter days. Plus, it feels so luxe to own a Chanel lipstick!

Let's round off the gift guide with some standalone base products. The beauty addict in your life will doubtlessly be familiar with the cushion trend that's migrating from Korea to the West, and the latest installation is this cool cushion-stick from Estee Lauder (11). It's a cushion highlighter (so happy brands here have finally started doing these!!) and it comes in three shades. I am totally drawn to this pinky shade, which I think would look so pretty as a blush topper. Bonus: they're apparently super subtle. The By Terry Compact-Expert Powders (12) are supposed to be a luminous powder that works as either a highlighter, blusher, or setting powder. Perhaps not a gift for the gal or guy who dabbles in beauty, but the serious beauty addict will appreciate this. And lastly, we have the Nars Man Ray Overexposed Glow Highlighter (10). I had to end this list on a packaging "win"!

Happy gifting, whether it's a cheeky purchase for yourself (we've all been there) or doling out love to the ones you care about. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to sneakily turn on the Charlie Brown Christmas Album (even though it's not Thanksgiving yet!).

Happy Holidays!
