All photos are taken by our incredible photographer, Anna Urban. We could not recommend her highly enough!
The decor
We hired a our village hall to have the reception in. Our vendors and wedding planner were amazing and helped us created the perfect atmosphere. I'll have a much more detailed post on the vendors on a later Wedding Wednesday! But to credit them briefly here: our tables & chairs were from Virginia's Vintage Hire, our place settings and glasses were from The Green Cockatoo, our lighting was from Wedding Lighting Hire Scotland, our florist was Hannah from Vintage Gathering, our food was from Wild Rover Food, and our wedding planner and coordinators were Sara Jane and Cat D.
My flower crown
After the ceremony, I changed from my veil into a flower crown. Hannah created the perfect one for me using local, seasonal flowers.
Friends & Family
Next to actually getting married, the best thing about the wedding was having so many people we love in one place. I'm not going to post too many pictures of them since I want to respect their privacy, but it was just amazing having them there. And my bridesmaids were so supportive!
Something old
My something old was my grandmother's necklace. It felt so special to have a piece of her so close to my heart all day.
Getting married
It sounds corny, but it's true: the best part of the day was marrying this incredible man.
I hope you've enjoyed these snapshots from our wedding. I'll be putting up more detailed posts about various aspects of the day and the planning process in later Wedding Wednesdays.
You were a beautiful bride! Ann and Bob
ReplyDeletethank you so much!!
DeleteEverything looks so beautiful! I would definitely take some pointer from here (one of them being; find a good photographer!). I am also getting married soon, and right now we’re just looking at some of the event venues for the wedding.
