But today we've got one of my all-time fave drugstore bases: the Collection Illuminating Touch Foundation. Read on to see what high-end base it's a near-perfect dupe for!
So how does it perform?
It comes in a lovely, expensive-feeling glass bottle. The formula is a slightly runny cream. And guys...it's a NEAR PERFECT dupe for the YSL All-In-One Glow foundation!!
I was shocked that for less than £6 (it costs £5.99 at Boots) you could get SUCH a gorgeous, high-end finish. It doesn't have the same 50% water formulation as the YSL, but it's still super dewy. I have the shade 02 Warm Ivory, which is almost exactly the same as YSL B20.
I have found the best way to apply the Collection Illuminating Touch Foundation is with a damp beauty sponge (right now I am loving the Beauty Egg from Unicorn Cosmetics). One pump gives you a GORGEOUS dewy coverage that knocks back redness but lets freckles shine through.
Just like the YSL All-In-One Glow, it clung a teensy bit to the dry patches around my nose, but it doesn't look cakey or mask-like--it really looks like you've got glowing, gorgeous skin.
This is SUCH a steal for £5.99. A true drugstore hero if there ever was one.
Have you guys tried the Collection Illuminating Touch Foundation? What are your thoughts?
